Physically, you should be able to have a baby at 19, as long as your health is good, but what concerns me is the fact that you don't know if you are ready or not. My thinking is that if you have to ask then you are not ready. There are pros can cons to having children at a young age. You need to weigh those to find out what is right for you and your husband.

My entire pregnancy was while I was 19 I turned 20 the day after I had my son. I didnt have a very good pregnancy but thats because I am a very tiny person (well at least according to my doctor thats why) I dont think anything medically wrong can happen. You just have to do what the doctor tells you to do. According to all that I have talked to it is the prime time to have a child because at such an age we are able to recover well and are still able to make the right decisions about how to take care of out selves. Just make sure this is the most stable and stress free enviroment that you can have.
I am adding this in here I am 5'2" and about 95lbs. When I had my son I weighed 155lbs.

i had my first baby when i was 19, he is now 3. i don't think that there's any right age for somebody to get married or to have a baby. as long you know you are ready, then nobody should stop you. but just remember that having a baby is a big responsibility. once you become a mother, there's no turning back. it's hard to have a baby, it's even harder to raise a child. but all the hardships are worth it coz becoming a mom is the greatest gift you could give to yourself. just be sure that it's something you really really want or you gonna end up regretting at the end...

I was 19 when I got pregnant with my now three year old son. The only difference is, I wasn't married yet. We got married 8 months after I had my son. If you feel like you are ready for a child and you can give him/her the life they deserve, then go for it. Good luck!

I thought you said your 21 years old, at least in one of your other questions you said you were 21. I'd say get the child bearing over with while your young! Your skin is more stretchy and your most likely more healthy than older woman. I'm sure your more flexible!

Physically--it's OK to get pregnant at 19. Medically--if there is any medical problems that you are concerned about, consult your doctor or your ob-gyn for assistance.

Why can't you decide? If you can't then you kind of answered your own question. Only you really know if your ready or not. Either way good luck and I hope you get what you want!!

I got pregnant at 19 I had no complications, it's a good time our bodies recover faster, and childbirth is what women are made for! you are really petite but your body will adjust as your pregnancy goes along.
