Who is the best charactor in the animated comedy Family guy

i know a lot of other people have said it, but it really has to be baby stewie !!! i just love the way he's always trying to plot to take over the world.... one of my favourite episode's was where it was stewie's 1st birthday, and he became convinced that the man in the white coat was going to come back on try to put him back inside the womb ! lol.... and i also liked the one where he was try to stop peter and lois having another baby. he invented a shrink ray machine, and shank himself and his spaceship small enough to go into peter's body, with the intention of killing off all the sperm.... it was so funny when he met up with the other little stewie - type character.... i love family guy, i wish it was on more often !

Peter Griffin. Without his idiotic man-child behavior the rest of the characters wouldn't have anything to react to. After Peter, I would lean toward Stewie.

I think Brian Griffin offers a great dynamic to the show that you don't get anywhere else in television today. He is the "Daria Morgendorfer" that we've missed for so long.
