the u . s . a . helps Saudi Arabia. all the governments on account that i'm able to bear in mind did. it quite is been occurring for some years. Saudi Arabia does no longer exist without the u . s . a . militia, financial and political help. McCain can help it and Obama will too. it quite is approximately political convenience and the two applicants are huge government socialists. the two will do what's politically handy. no longer what's ideal. ideal could have been to stay out of the midsection east. by now, we'd be using different sources of power and the midsection east could be in peace. US intervention stored a non-end state of turmoil and created international terrorism. And it quite is not even to insure the provision of oil nor its cost, the justifications that the socialist governments use to tell the human beings. None of those aims have been performed. the real reason is that the Saudi royalty is stunning rich and delivers tens of millions to assist the socialist equipment in the u . s . a . (and different areas of the worldwide). The politicians don't get the money promptly in funds, which would be immoral. They get funds that facilitates them stay in political positions. and that they don't get the money as we communicate from Saudi Arabia, which would be too obtrusive. They get it from firms that share the oil business organisation with Saudi Arabia. And it quite is particularly immoral yet facilitates them to coach sparkling palms on the papers... McCain isn't the undertaking. Socialism is the undertaking

Oil, money and power. That's the reason.

They have the oil which gave them loads of money to buy many many companies and property etc and it gives them a lot of power, more so in the States than in the UK.

With oil and petrochemicals becoming scarce you do not want to p*ss off it's biggest supplier. So instead of making serious inroads into other forms of energy and new forms of oil for mechanics the governments of the world toady up big time.

Wars in the name of democracy have never been about democracy, it's just a great marketing spin. Look at most of them and it comes down to controlling some natural resource or important military territory, just look at the Falklands and Iraq for a start.

So why start a war with an incredibly rich country who could cut off your supply and cripple your economy in less than a month? If they become weak then they're in trouble but that will take quite some time.

A good question......I know your experiences are true since I have seen the exact same thing. The answer basically is that The West wants part or all of the vast wealth contained by this Kingdom. We are currently attempting to sell them some junk aircraft called the Eurofighter and will bend over backwards to complete the order.....it's called grovelling and the Uk is expert at it. Most of the religious fanatics are currently from Saudi and the UK Government knows this full well, personally I would'nt give them an out-of-date food parcel since they basically hate the site of us. Amazing how they all use Western products and skills to continue their existance, when did you last see a Muslim made car for instance or a Muslim computer. Bin Laden and his gang are supported by them along with many more from that area, especially Pakistan. I feel it would be just lovely to let them get on with it, without any Western help whatsoever, just up and leave. This wont happen of course since everything revolves around money and they have lots of it. Our Government will continue to try and get some of it even in the face of humiliation. Your experiences must have been annoying I know but it's all part of the subject these days that keeps the World rolling.......
It's called bullshit

Saudi Arabia is significant in world affairs, and in American foreign policy, only insofar as it sits atop one of the largest deposits of oil in the world. Because of this, the House of Saud has vast amounts of wealth, and has a great deal of that wealth invested in the American economy (Michael Moore claims that they own 1% of it.) Also, it is argued that the Saudi monarchy is stable, and relatively pro-western, but, as you point out, this may be a mostly outward face. Regardless, the United States, the world's defender of freedom, is in fact the economic lifeline and the military protection to one of the last absolutest monarchies on Earth, and a very repressive one at that.

The finances and investments of the Bush family are closely tied in with the Saudis. We can expect George W. Bush to become the richest ex-president in American history within a few years of leaving office.

And of course the USA is totally dependent upon the goodwill of the Saudi government for access to its oil, and for a sufficient supply of that oil to keep prices from going through the roof.

Everything else is negotiable: even Saudi support for Islamist extremism, for sowing the seeds of terror.

Saudi Arabia is being supported even when it prohibits freedom of expression and religion because of oil which is basically needed by the country for trade.

I spent five years there myself, and although you are not exaggerating very much, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, and found individual Arabs to be not much different from people at home [USA]. But that is not relevant to your question. We support KSA because we do a lot of trade with them, they generally support the rights of our people (if not so well their own), and we have common interests.
