I don't think it's fair that anyone gets special privileges on basis of their race alone. Race shouldn't matter. Giving someone special privileges because they are a specific race is not fair, no matter if the race is dominant or a minority. People should be treated on an individual basis, not in terms of groups, and people should earn privileges, not just get them handed to them for being a certain color.

Depends on what you mean by special privileges. If the person you are talking about is working hard, paying attention in school, and being quality, productive citizen, then he or she is not receiving "special privileges". If you mean illegally climbing over a fence to get into another country, having a baby, receiving free medical care, free housing, free food, and a free education....THAT is receiving very undeserved special privileges. And you know who pays for all the free benefits for the illegal, yes ma'am, you and me the Taxpayer.

Can you be more specific and site examples of reference?

What races receive special privileges and how do you define dominance?

In The US it may mean one race, In South America another, in Africa another and in Asia, yet another race. You really need to make your question less political.

I think you mean "ethnicity" and not "race". We are all of the human race regardless of our ethnicity.

Now to answer your question: No it is not fair, just as it is not fair for any ethnic group to receive special privileges based on their ethnic origin. I treat people based on the kind of person they are. I do my best to look past the color of their skin.

No, but I also think that it is wrong to treat minorities with special treatment. As a white male I now have difficulty getting into universities and internships because I am not 'diverse' and I think that is unfair as well. We should be treated based on ability, not race

Who are the dominant race? We are all so mixed up in races now that none of us know what we are.

NO WAY, even religion, im against it, look at them muslims that blew up that plane with about 100 innocent people, now if it was up to me, i'd really kill all muslims, no offence to the good muslims, or change the holy book, get rid of some murderers.
