"Immoral" ?
You first have to define "moral", one thing that has been turned upside down the last 20 years! I do not know what "moral" IS!
In the past, we had VALUES. Today's values have not the same meaning.
As I said in another similar response (see my best answers), the fault does not necesseraly rest on the kids!
The quality of teaching has gone dramatically down, by teachers who don't care, and by students who don't want to learn, by a Society that does not really give a ****, by schools who want "good marks" with a maximum of passes, hence reducing the curriculum, and, finally, by governments that wants the "people" to be as gullable as possible (less educated as possible), since good education means "able to THINK"... and ask questions.
I am a replacement teacher (Engineer!) for maths and physics, and I am horrified at what I see from schools.
So, since there is no "moral" or "immoral", I use my VALUES.
And my (old) values say:
- Help the kid.
- Do not just SOLVE the question: TEACH!
- If you do solve the problem, EXPLAIN the hows and whys.
- Give them guidance that help them, not only to solve the problem, but ALSO to UNDERSTAND what the problem is about.
That, I think, in my terms, is "moral".
Kind regards,

Not at all. Homework should be completed by whatever method is at the person's disposal to solve the problem(s) at hand. If the student is lazy and just wants the answer without an explanation of how to work the problem, then the student is doing him or herself a disservice. It isn't immoral, just unfortunate and useless in that case; however, if one provides an answer that explains the concept behind the problem and allows the student to work the next one with less difficulty, then it is worth it.

I don't think it is immoral to answer questions that are needed..If it is home work assign, then
helping someone in need of trying to figure out the problem is just that helping. You are the tutor and you just may help in there understanding. But remember when it comes down to the test...they are on their own..They study what you helped with or they fail because they didn't go the extra mile to learn what it takes.

I don't know if it goes as far as a lack of morals. However, I sincerely doubt that someone can earn a diploma or a college degree solely by trolling for answers online. If someone's truly struggling with schoolwork, I see no problem with it. But laziness in general usually leads someone to a life of flipping burgers or picking up trash on the interstate.

no...it is not immoral
some people don't have the luxury of having a mom or dad who can help, or afford a tutor
some people wait until the last minute
and some people are just lazy and want others to do their work for them
you can help without giving the answers outright

concerning the comparable i think, no count if it particularly is only posting a stupid Q or A. yet asking is extra complicated in case you establish to p.c. the main suitable answer. I only discuss with P/S. ( in different categories, answering may well be extra durable, as you would be able to desire to appreciate the respond, or examine an argument)

I ignore and refuse to answer those questions. I use to provide some guidance in the areas of math and history. Then one person reported me for not GIVING them the answer out right. So...now I keep my 4 years or college and 4 years of grad school education in math to myself.

I just answer them "do your own homework," usually accompanied by some sort of smart-assy remark. I wish that people would realize that they're only messing these kids up by giving them the answers, because they can't use Yahoo Answers on their tests, and that's where it counts.

just goes to show how lazy kids truely are today.......they can use the internet, have open book tests, use a calculator during tests....yet they still lack the will to just type in such items into a search engine and do a few minutes of reading to find the answer.
they would rather learn nothing, do nothing, and be told what to do. the NWO & Zionists has done a fine job of dumbing down the masses don't you think?

It may or may not be immoral, but it's wrong, because it hurts childrens education.
Providing them with even a specific website is just wrong. They can use Google and sort through stuff themselves. That's education.
