If you have a contract and it is not stated specifically that there are any other conditions to the full salary increase, then they must abide by the contract. Contact a local agent at the Labor board in your state. It does not matter which country you are in, a contract is a contract that is why they exist. Good Luck!

Something isn't right. I would contact an attorney. Your visa shouldn't have anything to do with the contract unless it isn't legal for you to work. Have an attorney review your contract there may be something you are missing or don't understand about the contract. Once it is reviewed an attorney can advise you on how to proceed.

Since your employer more less refuses to give you the raise that they promised. I would take your contract to a lawyer and explain to them what is going on. If it went to court I almost bet you would win the case. The way it sounds to me is that you got ripped off.

Speak to a labour law attorney and explain your situation. Before you do anything, get your facts straight and be sure that what they are doing is legal. If not, report it to the business bureau or sue them.
