It's normal to have doubts, especially with your first. As mentioned, seeing the images on ultrasound, or hearing the heart-beat will definitely assure you that it's all real.
The reason the lines on the stick are not super dark, is probably because the stick either reacts or doesn't....... it is not a measure of how pregnant you are,..... just positive or negative. Meaning, the lines are like an on/off switch, not a dimmer switch.

It just takes a while for the HCG levels in your urine to rise. With my first son I was 3, going on 4 months pregnant, and was already showing(gained 75 pounds with that pregnancy!), and anways, I kept testing, was sicker than a dog...barfed on a bus in a plastic bag even while on the way to planned parenthood yet again to be tested...and it still came back negative! I literally had to go to the doctor to have a blood test, simply because the HCG levels in my urine were just not concentrated enough...either due to being to diluted or something....
Anyways, you're not alone because when my best friend was pregnant this year...she took 5 pregnancy tests and was worried about the same thing! lol....the strength of the line....but the thing is the line won't even turn a light color unless it's detecting that hormone...and then in some cases...an infection of some kind, but that's rare.
btw..congratulations!

Is this your 1st pregnancy? Well its normal on the part that the symptoms just come and vanishes. You will actually feel the baby inside you after only 12 to 14 weeks pregnancy only....but in some cases it may vary.
Dont get excited coz its not good for your health and the baby. Just be calm and cool. And have a regular visit to your family doctor for advice and suggesstions.
Just get close to your spouse and tell Him you need more caring and loving than ever...

It means that you need to quit stressing out on this, and just enjoy being pregnant!!! As long as the lines were still there, you (and the baby) are okay! The lines can be any shade, it just has to do with the concentration of your urine at the time you took the test! Also, pregnancy symptoms don't have to be 24/7. Nausea and vomiting and breast tenderness come and go, as do mood swings and cravings and stomach cramps. My advice to you is RELAX and be happy. Congratulations!

you wont feel the symptoms all the time. if you did some women would be in the bathroom 24/7 with morning sickness. i think it is kinda normal to think "am i really pregnant?" but once you see the baby in an ultrasound the question will drift away. just try not to worry and stress over it. =) i hope that helps

If you haven't started bleeding or cramping severely your still pregnant. Its normal for symptoms to come and go throughout your entire pregnancy. RELAX, everything will be groovy.

not all pregnant women will experience the same thing. If you have not having cramping or bleeding then you are pregnant.
