Your eyeshadow colour has less to do with the colour of what you wear than your eye colour. Since grey is neutral, you can choose almost any colour of shadow. To make the natural colour of your eyes really "pop", choose a colour of shadow that is "opposite" in the colour wheel. For example, my eyes are a warm green, so I wear burgundy and gold shadows. If you have blue eyes, golds and peaches may suit you, since orange is the "opposite" of blue. If you're lucky enough to have brown eyes, you can go with almost any shade!
When my clients (I'm a cosmetologist/nail tech/esthetician) are wearing grey, I've always had luck with deep burgundy in the crease and a slightly metallic light silvery-grey along the browbone, with charcoal eyeliner and black mascara. Try mineral makeup like Minerologie or Bare Essentuals for lasting power!

How about a light matte silver for the lid, a deep gray for the crease, I'm thinking the darker the better, and a very light gray for your brow bone. And always experiment, its fun and you may find a great combo of other colors that look great on you and with the dress.

i would choose a (dusty) pink colour with a bit of sparkle, as its for a wedding, its also a warm colour for winter to brighten any skin colour.
either way have a great time whatever colour you choose.
there are certain colours you def shouldnt wear to a wedding/ with grey - i'd say blue is a no no.

By your animation it looks like you have blue eyes, so I would wear a lilac or plum color with dark lashes. That will flatter you most and make your dress stand out well!
