Philosophically speaking, everything ought to be in balance ......... so if attraction has to be proved, it would be necessary to prove repulsion as well.

I accept that the only certain law is the law of gravity (attraction between bodies).
The only book I have seen the author explaining this law and its reasoning is "About Ouranos" (Peri Ouranou) - Ouranos means "Universe", of Aristotle

If you mean attraction in physics : yes.
But if you mean attraction as what you are seeking is seeking you, i dont think there is any scientific proof, but i think we create our reality with our thought, and when you want something and focus on it, it comes to you.
