Convicted is correct that most any physical object can be used for sculpture. But what about light, sound, smell, time (Andy Goldsworthy makes sculpture that he knows will soon be destroyed by natural processes-for example.) Any of the senses could be affected by what is done in a sculpture, yes?

As the other answers have told you, anything can be considered for sculpture, but what sort of art are you interested in? Finding the balance in a wind chiming mobil? Getting your hands in the middle of clay, using heated tools to work with wax? Carving glass, etching glass, carving stone and on and on. Find something that stirs your imagination or just makes you feel good to see or touch it, and whatever you end up with is sculpture.
