No, I don't, especially when I do not know who is calling. Most of the time, they are not looking for me, as I have a cellphone on my own. I try not to pick up the phone when someone else is at home.

I love to answer the phone and talk with people! I am definitely a people person. When a telemarketer gets on the phone, tho, I immediately tell them "No thanks. I am not interested. Take me off of your call list." Then they legally have to take my name and number off of their calling list or they can be sued for calling us again. We haven't had telemarketers call her for quite sometime because I do that. :) I don't have a cell phone, am alone all day while my fiance works, and don't have any friends here yet since we moved here just 3 months ago, so talking on the phone is a way, besides the Internet, for me to keep in touch with people. Besides, some people I know don't have a computer or the Internet, so the phone or writing letters is the only way to contact them.

No. I don't even remember what it was like without caller ID, and I don't want to. Yeah, I'm definately a screener. But I'm also a little stuck up at times, I'll admit... I don't have time for 'niceties' and humoring people I really don't want to talk to.
I'm not really a phone person anyway. If I'm at home, I'm probably there and not hanging out with you because I just want to relax and have some privacy/peace and quiet. Otherwise, why talk on the phone? I'd rather hang out.

personally, no that's why I have voice mail and caller ID...Later on, I can listen to the messages and see if they are something or someone important who needs to be called back. I tell my family if it is an emergency to hang up and keep calling, only then do I pick up immediately (granted that I am home at the time)...long story short the majority of the time I don't like or enjoy answering the phone...

I do if I can see who is calling with my caller ID. But if someone is calling for someone else who isn't home then I usually let the machine get it to avoid to talk to certain annoying and nosy people.

I do like answering the phone. I love to be in commnication with people. That is why I lvoe chat programs as well because I get to be in contact.

i hate answering the phone. i have so many family members and everytime someone calls they want something whether its a ride or to borrow something that will never be returned.

heck no.. telemarketers call our house all the time and I just hate talking to them.. so annoying.
