Do NOT give in. It's an attention-seeking tactic. No matter how much you want to fall for his traps and debate, don't. It will only lead to an argument. I know this because (gasp) I've been known to instigate myself! lol. When he starts his game, just be as kind and patient as possible and divert the subject. Don't get angry and don't give in...after a while, when he sees he isn't getting a rise out of you, he'll hopefully feel foolish and curb his instigating ways.

Best of luck!

Oh man, don't you just HATE that?!

I'll bet he gets it from his family, probably his dad, right? Probably runs in the family.

He's only doing it for attention and to get a rise out of you. As difficult as it might be, don't give him the satisfaction. Let him entertain others with his cleverness and feigned wit.

Also, try withholding sex.

Pay it backwards!!-- give it back to him-- and act like you did nothing wrong- I can bet all the lotto money in the world that he will not even pick up on you doing this to him, at least not at first-- you might have to hit him over the head with it to awaken him to his actions.
