Try lying down for about 20 mins to a half hour after sex to give the lil guys time to swim up there and stay... Gravity sucks... Or even take it a step further and propping your butt up on a pillow after for some extra support... Make sure your having sex during your ovulation period when you have creamy to watery discharge... (Sorry if to much information... lol...) Timing is everything when TTC...

Also... Constipation is a sign of pregnancy... Believe me... I had it horrible during my first pregnancy...

Wait til your next period is due and start testing... Good Luck and Baby Dust to you...

You need to learn Natural Family Planning to figure out what your body is doing. Fortunately this is very easy and free!

Take your temperature every morning when you wake up. It will rise when you ovulate (around the middle of your cycle) and will stay higher until you get your next period. As you have had an ovary removed you may not ovulate on every cycle. This is nothing to worry about. Once released you egg remains viable for fertilisation for just 12 - 24 hours.

Also keep an eye on your mucus. It will become stretchy like egg white as you approach ovulation. Sperm can survive for a max. of 5 days in this most fertile mucus.

When trying to concieve it is recommended to have intercourse every other day during the week before you ovulate and then for two days after.

After intercourse place a pillow or cushion under your hips so they are raised slightly. This will stop the sperm leaking out straight away.

Make sure you are taking prenatal vitamins and folic acid to give your baby the best start in life. Also try and relax, stress can delay ovulation.

listen ...iam a male and i had almost the same problem with my wife and some of my closest friends advised us to do the following if we want to get pregnant:
1) we have to count the days according to her menstruation
2) the best sex position is the dogie position!
3) they say that we have to face the sun while having sex
4) and after having sex the women should keep her lower body raised a little pit so the sperms will be guided!
frankly i don't believe in this stuff...but surprisingly..it worked from the first time...and another thing they say the Man souled have a cup of coffee 30 Min's before sex....
try it ..it may work with u also

In my opinion, taking a vacation away from normal way of life even if just for a couple of nights is the best way to get pregnant (with lots of sex of course). It happened for me 2 different times! It will ease stress and make you more likely to conceive!

I don't know about constipation so soon, but I wouldn't drink any orange juice or acidic drinks. It may be an old wife's tale but they say it can kill off little boy sperm. Who knows. I also heard that dousing can push the little guys up higher for greater chances. You can always stand on your head for a day or two! lol

Sounds to me like something you really should be discussing with your OB/GYN due to your unique situation. Constipation tends to accompany pregnancy, but it is not a *sign* of pregnancy. Signs of pregnancy include but are not limited to fatigue, breast tenderness, abnormal or unexplained vaginal bleeding (due to implantation), and nausea or vomiting.

Wishing you luck in your efforts to get pregnant...=)
