As a Gunner's fan, now, no, sadly. Man U (eek!) is playing the best football now.Chelsea is playing better than my Gunners. But we are still a fine team.

Definite NO.
1. They have not won the Champions League
2. They do not challenge for the Premiership often enough.
3. They rely too much on Henry and Fabregas.
4. They lack local English talents.
5. They are no longer a team that smaller clubs are afraid of.
6. Their record in the Emirates Stadium is not good enough.
7. They lost they best players in Campbell, Viera & Pires and have not found suitable replacements.
8. They either play very well, or find it difficult to play at all.--- No consistency
9. Goalkeeper isnt world standard.
10. Historical records is no where near the likes of Man Utd , Liverpool

No, they have yet to be the best. To be able to name as the best obviously you need win lots of trophies.
Just to compare it with a couple of the EPL football club.
Champions League:-
Arsenal - (never win before, last season was their first time to reached the final but loss to Barcelona.)
MUFC - 1 time
Liverpool FC - 5 times
EPL League title:-
Arsenal -13 times
MUFC - 15 times
Liverpool FC -18 times
FA Cup:-
Arsenal - 10 times
MUFC - 11 times
Liverpool FC -7 times

no arsenal is not the best football club in england and why just take a look over the last to years they only just made it in to the champions leauge this season overall they are not rated the best.
