The oven and the clothes dryer, and if you use electricity to heat and/or cool your home, that would be the most usage of all. Then the hot water heater, freezer, dishwasher, refrigerator clothes washer.

Things that create heat normally use the most (dryers, hair dryers, electic heater, irons). Look at the watts & not the volts. If all your outlets are 110 volts, then all your items are using that. Now the watts, a 100 watt lightbulb uses more (and gets hotter) then a 40 watt bulb does. So think of how much electric a 1200 watt hair dryer is sucking up.

Oven, electric dryer, pool equipment, electric waterheater or furnace. Best way to tell, is have somebody stand at the electrical meter and turn items on 1 by 1. The faster the meter spins, the more power it uses.

Hot water heater, dryer, central heating (or air conditioning) and your oven. Any of the above can be half of your electric bill if used daily.
