i think you just need to shut yourself out from all distractions, sit in front of the computer with a cup of coffee, and just start. let the magic flow.

Absolutely. You have to wait until the night before the due date. Stay up all night, drink so much coffee that you get the shakes. Every once in a while you get up run around the house howling in desperation and about 2 hours before class you end up hammering it out. Used to happen to me all the time.

Uh I've done worse. One time I spent the weekend not writing my essay at all- I even pawned the textbook off and used the money to go to JackintheBox.

Gosh, I hope so. You just gotta love final's week. Take a serious break and if you still can't come up with anything seek help and lot's of it from any where you can get it.

Yeah, it's more than you would get out of me! LOL! I tried to sit down the other day to edit the novel I am working on, and I got through two pages and couldn't make myself do anymore! LOL!

happens to me all the time, and I'M a writer.
write when u feel like it.....let your thoughts, imagination and your LIFE guide u.......don't ever force yourself into it
perhaps u should take a break, try a different topic/theme/subject
oh - and how's your keyboard now? - i mean, your head?

try to get your mind off the essay writing for at least a couple of hours. if a computer hangs/lags, we reboot it right? works on the brain too.

Yes, it happens. You don't let yourself get away with writing crap. That's a good thing. When the right words come to you, it will be worth it.

yes sometimes....sometimes you are just out of idea and words to write...i can spend the whole day in front of PC to write an essay and at the end of the day i have 4 not so sure lines in front of me!!! Arghhhh....
