Will there be a United Ireland?

Is there ever going to be a United Ireland or will partition continue permanently. Specifically when you think it will happen...and should it?

It's possible, although Unionist voters in Northern Ireland appear to be in the majority currently so democratically speaking it may be unlikely for some time.
Over the coming century though it looks like all the countries of Europe might be coming closer together and when that happens the barrier that seperates Ireland may become meaningless.
