Read the memo again you stupid a s s hole. It doesn't say it's a failure. It says we need to make changes on the way things are being done.

I do think it was more of an admission unlike the guy above me "I'm a troll" cause it was a memo recommending various options on pulling back on troop levels and redirecting them as a emergency task force "hit and run" tactic , something the insurgency has been duing since the begining of the war. It just comes to show that Rummy had no strategy in Iraq and now is adopting some of the tactics of the enemy as a new strategy of winning the war for us ( lol!).

Yes, but Bush administration couldn't admitt any regret or failure before crucial midterm election. They played the pr game by hiding their doubt. That's why Rumsfeld stayed till the election was over. Obviously politics have gotten in a way of common sense. I feel almost bad for people who knew Iraq was not going well, but supported Bush's position for the sake of politic and loyalty.

Lot of man in Bush administration will have sex with female donkey to prove they're not gay. Their pride is high, but somewhat obsessive and bizzare.

Put Iraq in perspective, the U.S. won the war but Iraq themselves cannot win the peace. How many would have thought that at the start?

Yeah, I think the citizens of the US and the world deserve an apology... but I'm not holding my breath.
How many lives might not have been lost if someone had listened to the world screaming 'hey, it's NOT working, fix this mess you created!' six months ago.

How do you plan to get him to admit that?!?
'Time for a change of plan' probably falls short of saying, 'What we're doing isn't really working and we're lost as to what to try next'
What a mess!
