I am Danish but most of my friends are from the Middle East and South Asia not for any reason but it has just happened that way. My "Western friends?" get annoyed with so many of my friends being from the Middle East and South Asia but I like them so much. They have called me a reverse racist and a something lover. (I can't even remember the term.) If I am with my "western" friends I cannot speak of the others. What is your opinion? Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Wow. No, you're not a reverse racist. You're colorblind, and that's something to be proud of. Your western friends are racist and because you don't conform to their ideas they don't see you as the neutral that you are but as someone who stands against them. They're not only doling out intolerance to your middle eastern and Indian friends but to you as well. I'm not saying to abandon your friends, after all, they are your friends. But just try to put their racism in a negative light in front of them. That should discourage it.

There really isn't such a thing as a reverse racist. Racism is Racism even if it is against your own group. You are not the one who is racist. You're friends are.You have accepted all ethnic groups involved. Your western friends are the ones with the problem. Maybe they aren't worthy of your friendship.

Sounds to me like you shouldn't worry about what these other people think. I kind of get the impression that you are not racist at all. You keep picking friends that have good qualities and who are good back to you. You will find that later in life you will have no particular race of friends. Don't sweat it!!!
Sounds like your Western friends are the ones who are having a problem...maybe they need to figure themselves out before they start picking you apart>

No, you are not a "reverse racist." It seems to me like you have some very racist friends from your own country. You are friends with who you like, regardless of their national origin or skin color, and that does not make you a racist at all.

If reverse racist is the opposite of racist, you should be pleased.
