What is the psychology behind someone giving them.Are they out of love,admiration,compassion?How about when women give them to a male acquaintance?

"A smile is the light in your window that tells others that there is a caring, sharing person inside"

It is a manisfestation displayed in a person's face wearing it, to send a message of goodwill, pleasantness and positive or affirmative feelings.

A nice smile just warms your heart. A stranger can smile at you without no reason or thought behing it - it is just a smile and for a second or two nothing else matters

maybe a smile is just what it is a smile and the person giving it is just happy, I do NOT think that there is a psychological meaning behind muscular movements,and people that overanylyze and want to put meanings into every little movement, belch and fart need to chill and get a life
