Depends on where in Colorado. Most of Colorado is quite beautiful. It's also not true that it's cold all the time. Denver can be quite warm in winter. If the winds hit the mountains just right they compress the air making the temperatures quite balmy even in the dead of winter. It can snow one day and be in the 70s the next.

It can be very cold.

I would assume it's very nice there.
