I've asked my cats this question, but they just look at me & laugh...so what do you think?

...what do cats chase, when they go on their little 'sprees'?
There aren't any mice, & no apperant bugs...they just go nuts---beating up the stairs, the walls, & the air!!

They can see creatures from other planes of existence that we can't. They are chasing them.

I don't wanna freak you out, but I heard of a study where young kids and animals can often "see" ghosts because they don't know not to "believe" in them.

I can assure you it's not their tails. One of my cats is a manx (no tail) and she does it. I think they are just chasing some imaginary mice. How much catnip are you giving them??? LOL.

i've discussed the same with my cats - Monkey & Cabbage and they both explained that they are playful creature and likes to have fun all the time. that's why they like to jump here and there all the time, specially Monkey (that how he got the name!)..
