Panorama, I don't understand. How is the wall right in principle? Can you please clarify on that statement.

Thanks for your answer Jeffloves. At least you are aware that a wall exists in the West bank. The wall goes way beyond the need of Israel to protect its citizens according to a report by the International Committee of the Red Cross in 2004 which says it is in clear violation of International Humanitarian Law. http://www.icrc.org/Web/Eng/siteeng0.nsf/iwpList4/F06BB484D900B227C1256E3E00324D96

No,you are not...I think that too...Well the building of the wall was declared illegal and the Israelis should have teared it down...instead they kept building it...but when did they follow any law?
They say it's for protection,I think it's just another way to take more land from the Palestinians and to totally isolate them...

As an Irish person,I think the route of the wall is wrong, though in principle the wall itself is right. I support the Palestinians because they are occupied and that is where our analysis must start - otherwise we are attacking the symptoms of the conflict rather than the cause. The problem with the route is that effectively it oversteps the 1967 borders which UN Resolution 141 requires Israel return to. I hope the US eventually realises that part of defeating terrorism is to win the battle for hearts and minds among the 1.1 billion Muslims.

Tell ya what sweety, how about a bunch of crazy palestinians set up their rocket launchers in your town, aimed at YOUR house, schools and Churches?
How badly would you whine for them then?!?!?
Why don't you buy a globe and LOOK at how much land Arabs already have compared to the amount of land that BELONGS to Israel? By the way, there is no such thing as the "palestinian ppl".
There has never been ( and there is not now) a ppl group called by that name with their own culture, language and beliefs. If you will study this out you will find that they did not even call themselves by this farce of a name until the late seventies. They are Arabs form Iran,Egypt,Iraq,etc.,etc.

A wall is a symbol of the failure of diplomacy, but not as bad as killing.
