he has talent as an actor deffinatly. Cant wait to see him in Home of the Brave later this month. But my personal favorite rapper who acted deffinatly was Tupac. He had alot of talent weather it was rapping or acting. Do the Right Thing, Juice all around a legend.

Ha! I got ya on a technicality! Will Smith is the best rapper turned actor. (Hey, I didn't say he was a good rapper, just a good actor!)
But really, he helped pioneer rap music, and it wouldn't be where it is today without him.
I like the roles LL Cool J chooses though. He's pretty diverse and controversial.
Other than Jamie Foxx, 50 Cent got the others beat.

are you kidding snoop dogg is a better actor than 50. he made 1 movie and he got you swingin. 50 is on master p's & silk tha shockers level when it comes to the movies. by far it is will smith,but if you don't consider will smith a rapper than it's ice cube or ice t.i myself like ice t.

Umm, dumbasses!! Tupac is a the best rapper/actor, because he really got into the role of his character.
Anyone who has seen Above the Rim, did you know that the song "Pain" is about Birdie's life? I dont think you can get much more into character than that.
If 50 was to show more than two different facial expressions in one scene, I think I might die of shock.
But, yeah, Get Rich was a pretty good movie. 8Mile is a different style, so you cant really compare them. Get Rich is about gang wars and drug dealing, whereas 8Mile is about a white guy tryin to play a black mans game, and get out of the gutter

i disagree Ice Cube is a way better actor he has more depth and range , and if Tupac were alive i think he would give fifty a run for his money, as far as acting goes.

I think mos def is the best rapper/actor byfar. He has range and is actually very convincing as a serious actor.
