I lost my mucus plug yesterday afternoon; it was thick, yellowish clear and jelly like. Today i lost a little more. I have been having braxton hicks for weeks now but since yesterday i get more cramping like im on my period, some pressure, and a little pain in my hips and lower back. Also i have been very constipated during pregnancy and since yesterday this has stopped making it easier for me. I am 37 weeks pregnant so im wondering from anyone elses experience how long do you think i have left to go. What is the longest i will go now??

you need to call your doctor as soon as possible.
losing the plug means the baby is on the way now.

I didnt loose my mucus plug, BUT my mother in law did with my husband (her son) She went about a week before she had him! My friends just had her baby on the 21st and she lost some of hers one day and then 4 days later a little bit I believe she went a week too before being enduced!!!

my fiance is also 37 weeks now i think , due dec 24
she doesnt have any symptoms yet like false labor pains and no loss of the mucus plug, you might actuall be shortly (maybe 2 weeks or less) be going into labor

It really depends on how you feel? Some people have lost their mucus plug and didnt have the baby until apx 1 week later. But dont worry, when that little bundle of joy is ready to come out......he or she will surprise you. But dont worry you defintaly dont have more than a week to go.!!!! CONGRATULATIONS

Sounds like your baby is on the way any day now. If you are having contractions start timing them and if they are getting close to one another then get ready to ago.

omg!! honey it sound as if you are very close. but im no doctor. oh by the way have you called your doc.. if not i think you should. congrats. im 40 weeks and still not dialated but only 1 cm and i havnt lost and kind of plug what so ever. so good luck to you. your baby will be ok you are at term congrats.

Very close... You should be timing your contractions now. Write them down and keep a log of them.
It also wouldn't hurt to go to the doctor and have your cervix checked to see how far you have dilated.
