If you want or need to go to college, just go.

There are grandma's and grandpa's out there that go back to college.

Don't worry about your age.

College will be what you choose to make it... I went to college immediately after H.S., got my BS, and started towards an advanced degree before starting a family. However, once I started a family, I decided I needed to change career fields.... I decided to return to college (beginning with a 2 year community college) to make the transition.

At first I felt a little odd... I was about 10 years older than the majority of the individuals in my classes, but as time went on, I soon forgot that any age difference existed at all. I guess you could say that it is sort of like working in the "real world;" at first you may visualize yourself as being different than you co-workers (whether it be by age or by personal interests), but after while, you just see your co-workers as individuals; not part of a stereotypical group/class of persons.

Returning to college for an education after working for a few years is becoming more and more common... If you have the ambition and motivation to advance your education, you should go for it!

Believe me you are not too old. Now days all ages are in school. Just think about this... if you do not go to college in 4 years you will still be 4 years older AND without a diploma. The best is yet to come.

Your not to old at all I am going to my local community college and I would say about 58% of the students there are 30 and over. my friend had an 82 year old lady in her class. It is never to late.

Never too late for education! I am 22 and I just got back into city college - I was just like you, i stopped my education after high school. After i thought about the situation and i finally convinced myself to go back to school. Why ? because i think that education is really important - . So it will never be too late for school! ""Knowledge is power""! remember that phrase. My teacher told me that he spent 8 years in community college and now he got to where he wanted to be, a teacher !
