I have never seen so many people complain about one thing. Yes the ECW PPV sucked. I can't believe anyone was dumb enough to buy it. But since everyone is bitching about the PPV, let me ask what you would have done. If you could have gone into the PPV and decided how everything turned out, what would have happened?

Here's my take:
Thorn and Areal vs. Knox and Kelly. Obviously this match was set up to fuel the fire between Kelly and Knox while also starting a fued with Sandman and Thorn.
Hardyz vs. MNM. Giving the fans what they want. Good match. P.S. Mercury is comming to ECW.
Davari vs. Dreamer. Dreamer is more of a backstage guy these days which means he mostly jobs. They are going to be pushing Davari. Stop bitching.
Balls Mahony vs. Matt Striker. This was just a filler match because Al Snow could not make it.
Berke and Terkay vs. F.B.I. Berke and Terkay are being pushed as big heels. Berke has a great persona and Terkay has a great look.
Elimination Chamber. Sabu has been very lazy lately and Vince punished him. So he took him out of the match. Punk is going to get the title eventually but he is still a new guy so he was not going to win. RVD is not going to hold a title for a long time because of his drug bust so he was not going to win. Lashley was the obvious choice.

Not had it.
I would have waited until i had enough wrestlers and storylines.
I wouldnt have crammed all of the talent into one match.
and i wouldnt use wwe talent that dont wrestle the style of ecw.
Despite lack of funding, ECW never put on a show that way. It was a 3rd rate show with nothing to offer their wwe fans or ecw loyalist fans.
They might as well televise OVW

The Hardys (Matt and Jeff) defeat MNM (Joey Mercury and Johnny Nitro) (w/Melina), Edge and Christian Cage, and D-Generation X (Triple H and Shawn Michaels) in a TLC match to win the ECW Tag Team Championship.
Balls Mahoney defeat Matt Striker in a Extreme rules match to win the ECW Television Championship.
The FBI defeat Sylvester Terkay and Elijah Burke
Tommy Dreamer defeats Daivari (w/Khali)
Dreamer pins Daivari after a masked wrestler helps him out.
Kevin Thorn and Ariel defeat Mike Knox and Kelly Kelly
Ariel pinned Kelly after a chockeslam
During the match Kelly's clothes fell off.
After the match, The Sandman attacked Thorn with a Singapore cane.
CM Punk defeats The Big Show (c), Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Lashley and Test in an Extreme Elimination Chamber match to win the ECW World Heavyweight Championship.
During the match the masked wreslter and 2 more masked wrestlers enter the chamber to help out CM Punk. The first masked wreslter takes off his mask to reveal that he is AJ Styles and the other two reveal to be Voodoo Kin Mafia.

The guy has a point ... let's face it the superstars in ECW are ... well no exactly ECW material ... Lashley - clean cut strong guy, Terkay - mean bully but would rather use clean fighting, Old ECW superstars - they're all too old ... ECW needs rejects, but is it worth it to make WWE's reputation suffer (you know since turning ECW to the old ECW would make it too violent for many people so WWE would receive a huge backlash) ?

DUUUUUUHHH, what about having Sandman just make a crappy save and not use the guy. Why aren't we seeing Stevie Richards or even Jazz for God's sake. Vince has completely ruined the image of ECW.

We didn't pay for it in the UK but I did think the Hardy Boys vs MNM was the best match and you're right about Bobby Lashley he was the obvious choice.

I would have made all matches extreme rules and CM Punk would have won the title....

i would start everything over, and make all matches no holds barred and make the extreme elimination chamber actually extreme and let ecw wrestlers run wild and not let vince mcmahon do a damn thing about it.
