I'm a college man all the way. GO NOLES!!! (i know, down year, but hey we beat Florida in Bball today)

But I've also never lived in a state with a pro team (I'm from south MS) and thus have always pulled for out of state NFL teams (the Bears cuz Walter Payton was a MS man and a great person on and off the field) and of course the Saints cuz they were really close in New Orleans.

So I think that in states where pro ball is played NFL people will be prodominant, in other states...it's all college ball and tradition baby!!!

I am an NFL fan first and don't really follow one particular college team, but there are some things I like more in college. I like how hard those guys work. They have a heart for what they are doing that is sometimes lost when they go pro. Also I like how college does overtime... both teams get a possesion. NFL overtime doesn't make sense. Saying whoever scores first wins, basically means... whoever wins this coin toss has the greatest chance of winning.
I follow NFL because it is overall a higher quality game, and I can't dedicate an entire weekend to watching sports.

I enjoy college football more than the NFL, and I pay more attention to it than the NFL. I'm not knocking the NFL, but I like the greater variety of plays and styles of play in the college game. I mean every NFL team pretty much plays the same straightforward NFL style of football. With college I can see more gadget plays or say..a finesse team vs. a smash-mouth team.

College football has a better regular season than NFL but NFL has the better postseason.

I'm pretty sure I'm not alone when it comes to insulting the postseason system NCAA football (Division 1A) uses.

I do. College football is a sport of students and scholars. NFL is grown men dedicating their entire careers to playing a game, and getting highly paid to play.
