i have to keep my cingular service because im on a family plan which does not include text, internet or anything special. So i want a sidekick 3 and hopefully I can just pre-pay for all my minutes...thanks

You could do that with any OTHER Tmobile phone, but not the sidekick. The sidekick series runs off its own servers, and unfortunately those servers are exclusive to Tmobile. You would be able to get voice but nothing else.

Why T-cellular.??? you will pay $a million.00 consistent with day, plus costs for calls and text cloth.....Your pre-paid will run out in 30 to 60 days.!! Why no longer get Virgin cellular? NO costs.. pay as you go lasts ninety days.. Calls are a flat 18 cents a minute!! All effective factors lined!! Works for me everywhere, different than a lead-lined room...No extra roaming costs for long diatance. comparable cost community or L.D.

yeah you shoudl be able to too, they offer pre-paid mins from their web site
