Dear brother, normally in hill area it is possible for making wide road; but due to the banking of tracks and making long lasting from the root on hills it needs the narrow & without winding how it will be possible for making roads!.....think. Its not possible.OK.

Esier to build roads that way, just carve them out of the hills. Typically follow the path of least resistance, such as Natives in this country followed game trails, native footpaths became the early wagon roads, and the early wagon roads got made into paved highways, and that is why you find deer standing in them :P

First Narrow: The roads are narrow because on the hill you can't use the heavily machinary for built the roads.
Winding: You can't built the stright road on the hills

The are wide and narrow because it easy for the roads to be made,quicker to get up and uses less petrol.
