Yeah I kinda thought they were affiliated at first, especially when VKM declared the war on WWE. But no, they're not. If they were then Vince would respond to VKM, and let VKM take on the Hardys at ECW's PPV. (VKM accepted the open challenge online). WWE would also mention Monty Brown's wrestling background as TNA. They didnt. They would talk about Kurt's move to TNA. They havent. It seems that WWE are completely ignoring TNA, and worse, Triple H actually saluted VKM at the December 1 RAW house show which VKM invaded.
Things are backfiring in TNA's face, that's why they had Ron Killings trash talk about Cena and WWE.
So no, TNA and WWE are not affiliated. TNA is a small company that has grown arrogant just because they have Kurt Angle, so they're starting a battle. WWE's a f**kin' giant, remember that!

No...they are two separate companies. ECW was the first company to take shots at their competition (WCW and WWE) at the time.
WCW followed suit with the N.W.O. concept and Eric Bischoff giving out the results of Monday Night Raw matches when RAW was taped, and then WWE having DX go the CNN Center and the building where Monday Nitro was being televised. Kurt Angle made
an appearance for ECW before he came to the WWF/WWE, but the mock crucifixion angle is what helped him join the WWF/WWE.
On October 26, 1996, a mock crucifixion was staged by Extreme Championship Wrestling wrestlers Raven and The Sandman for the High Incident event held at the ECW Arena. In this mock crucifixion, Raven tied Sandman to a cross and placed a crown of barbed wire (mocking the Crown of Thorns) on Sandman's head. ECW and Raven subsequently (and for Raven, reluctantly) apologized for the incident. This incident was instrumental in Kurt Angle signing with the World Wrestling Federation instead of ECW, as Angle was at the show and was "horrified" by the goings on. Afterwards Angle threatened ECW owner Paul Heyman with a lawsuit if Angle was ever associated, in any way, with the mock crucifixion. Just for the record, Dixie Carter runs
TNA, and the majority shareholders are Panda Energy International.

Angle left when his contract expired. TNA and WWE are not affiliated. WWE is a publicly-traded company and are required by law to disclose all their holdings.
WWE does not own the trademark to WWF, they lost in court when the World Wildlife Fund sued. The bought the rights to ECW when Paul Heyman ran into financial troubles and they bought WCW from TimeWarner several years ago.

I see what you mean, yet there's a topic. I consistently see and hear TNA referencing WWE, yet under no circumstances any incorrect way about. outstanding examples are Tazz retaining that some businesses might want to hearth you for choking human beings, for sure with regard to the Daniel Bryan incident. yet another one change into Kazarian speaking about the "TNA Galaxy", for sure mimicking the "WWE Universe". Kaz also stated something about Fourtune being "no longer only a collection of indignant newcomers", in connection with The Nexus. the prospect is amazingly low, yet as human beings say each of the time, something can ensue in wrestling. BQ: in my view, i'd be very much stunned. each one of those rumors of TNA signing wrestlers from AAA and then Nexus showing up, i'd be like "what the f*ck"?

no i really dont think they are.
TNA was created out of the ashes of the WCW by Jeff Jarret and his father.
Angle left the WWE because Vince told him (to his face) that all that he's accomplished (his medals etc) dont mean ****.
as for the VKM situation, you notice that they are very careful not to actually mention the trademarks DX, Triple H and Shawn Michaels etc

I sincerely hope not. If they are it will mean that Vince will run TNA into the ground like he did to WCW and he is going to ECW. It would mean that you would see AJ Styles in a clown suit, the gobble de gooker in the main event, and the death of the tag team and the X divisions. The WWE needs competition in order to survive. They need competition or they get lazy and you get to watch garbage every monday night. The wrestling world needs to see TNA stand up and compete with the WWE. This is for the best interest of the WWE itself. Even now look how lazy the WWE writers are. Every heel and most of the young stars got burried at Survivior Series. Sure the fans got a kick out of it for one night but it make long term angles seem unrealistic and it was simply lazy booking. Umaga the big scary heal (the only real heel on Raw. Edge and Orton are starting to look like a joke. Punching bags for DX who get their kicks beating up 60 year olds. Its a shame that WWE is so negligent in pushing young talent that they need to rely on 60 year olds to put on a decent show. I mean even I look forward to seeing the 60 year olds come out becuase there reallly isn't anyone else to watch.) hits the other team with a TV monitor. The other faces all get back up and go on to win the match without much trouble. Umaga's credibility is strained pretty badly. He can't take Cena out with a TV monitor its hard to see him beating Cena. "Rated RKO" gets beaten like a bunch of Jobbers. The WWE bookers think they can get away with anything so they give the fans a "freebie" and let them see the faces destroy the heels. They try to show how tough Rated RKO is they have then kill Ric Flair. I think you saw for yourself the crowd reaction to that one. They were bored to death. The supposed top heels beat up a 60 year old, with a steel chair. Even the commentators didn't or couldn't or whatever take it seriously. NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT THERE HASN'T BEEN A SERIOUS HEEL COMMENTATOR ON RAW IN YEARS.
Just to make it clear WWE needs TNA. They need TNA to keep them on their feet. To show them if they put on shows like Summer Slam where they burry story lines to get cheap pops they will lose fans.

It makes sense. We've all seen how generous Vince is with competition.
I think they just flew under vinces radar for a while. He's just now starting to notice them now that they keep putting on better shows than him every week. Thats why he snagged up Monty brown (thats going to bite him in the as$, brown was the single worst thing in tna)
