What noise/sound is it that helps you fall to sleep?

Well, I have no choice in the matter of what I listen to. I have sleep apnea and have to wear a mask over my nose that forces air into my lungs so that I will keep breathing all night. The machine that it's hooked up to has a noise similar to white noise and that's rather soothing. It's doesn't always help me get to sleep, but most of the time it does.

I have to have some kind of white noise like the fan or air conditioning but I can not sleep with music on, odd but true :)

My fan on speed 3! If im really lucky we get a thundershower and heavy rain to compliment the fan, results in a great sleep!

Yea i always have to leave my computer on cuz im not that fond of the darkness i put in a DVD so that my comp wont go to sleep

I listen to Friends on DVD it helps me sleep. My husband says I laugh at the jokes in my sleep.

i always keep my radio on w/d volume low.. makes me fall asleep
i can sleep w/some noises around me but never w/lights on

i like to hear a steady rain on my cd player with occasional thunder in it or a steady fan, radios or tvs are of an uneven sound that i can't relax enough to doze off (:
