First of all i want you to know that it is very real and very dangerous!!! A couple of years ago my friends and i played it, and the glass moved way too fast for anyone to fake it! My friend one day did something rally silly. she put her WWJD (what would Jesus do) braclet on the glass and played. i wouldnt go as far to say that she was possesed, but some bad spirit came into her and she was going crazy. Think seriously about doing these things.

Yes. I have. We all sat around the table our fingers lightly touching the planchet... We asked questions. Answers were spelled out. And, after we were all done you won't believe what happened.....

Absolutely nothing. Nothing happened. No screaming, no spirits, no hauntings, no running from the house in terror.

See, Ouija boards do not "contact the spirit world". They are not "evil". They do not "open a doorway". They do not "summon demons". That's all part of the Ouija board's mythos; and the stories you see so frequently here reinforce it.

Ouija boards rely on the imperceptible muscular movements of those touching the planchet -- the thing that indicates letters.

Penn and Teller on their Showtime Show, "Bullsh*t" (with the letter I) fully and soundly debunked Ouija boards.

They had a group of people use a Ouija board normally. The planchet indicated words, apparently answered questions, etc. Nobody claimed to be moving the planchet. All very typical.

They then blindfolded the group and, without telling the group, rotated the Ouija board 180 degrees. The board didn't function as it did when the group was not blindfolded. For example, when a Yes/No question was asked, the planchet indicated the spots that "Yes" or "No" had been before the board was rotated. Neither did any words get accurately spelled out by the planchet.

Obviously, either spirits are completely blind or the Ouija board opperates based on the imperceptible muscular actions of the participants.

oh dear yes i haved tried them, and beleive it or not they do work,,i only ever did it once and i will never do it again, it was a scary scary expereince for me, to teh point where a picture fell off the wall, the candles flames got over 6 inches high and then just went out,,,we ended that fast, I think they are a little scary, but hey if you wanna try go for it, everyones experience are different with them, oh and never do them alone, always make sure that you have someone else there that beleives, cuase they don't really work if you don't belive...
oh one more thing, if you do decide to do it, make sure taht you are respectful, cause you are dealing with spirits, and if you go into it with a evil mind you are going to get a evil spirit and those aren't pretty, do it with the right people and enjoy if you decide,
Make sure you make sure they are gone when you are odne and BURN THE BOARD
good luck

i use one all the time. Be careful when using one. You know you can let things in if you are not. By the way their real names are witch or talking boards. Ouija is a name made up by Parker Brothers for thier board. It means no one.

Yes I have, They work! I was very hesitant and apprehensive to believe what i construed as sillyness. I was shocked at how precise the boards answer was to what I was told in real life. I asked the Ouija if my wife would put out that night and it answered hell no, not believing, I asked my wife about an hour later and she said hell no. I was a believer!

wow, you are brave! I had a very scary experience when we were teenagers and were playing with one in my bedroom at which time there was a very pissed off evil spirit spelling out all kinds of wicked things! my mom was in the living room and kept hearing 6 knocks on my bedroom door it happened about 2 times when she finally got up and went to my room and realized what we were playing with. I must say that thing got burned outside and are house got blessed the same night!

I did when I was 14. We thought we were contacting John Lennon (lol), until something evil responded. I would not recommend using an ouija board.

Oh yea, we burned it too.

It was many yrs ago. I was 14 and I asked who I would marry. It gave me the name. Now I wonder if I would married that guy if I didn't know his name before hand. So did it predict or did it lead me?

this is what I think. I think that when people use those and do other things they are opened to bad spirits. Its pure evil and it sure is not a Godly thing. only good spirit to contact is the holy spirit.
