x is greater than or equal to 0

Because the 7 is a constant and for x to have a square root it must be greater then or equal to zero.

When finding the domain, you are finding which numbers x could possibly be.

In the problem you've listed, x is not "allowed" to equal ANY negative numbers, since you cannot take the square root of a negative number, so the domain is:

x greater than or equal to 0

You'll want to write the answer with the greater than ">" symbol though. :)
