Realize that the reporting structure is there to take the load off you. Isn't it nice that there is a person above you who will take what you've made and pass it on? Also, those superiors are helpless without you. They need your input. If you give them nothing, their hands are tied, and they stagnate. Give them something to work with, make the machinery purr. It's a job, a game, if you will. Not personal. They were just there first. Enjoy, it's good fun!
