I like the smell of the rain as it is about to happen. I used to spend a lot of time outdoors so I got to where I could smell the rain before the storm and it was sweet like the smell of the city after the rain has falling only without the traces of odors from the dirty rain can wash away.

Sometimes in a busy city (I live in London) it smells really bad as all the diesel on the road gets wet.
