I need to find out what would be the best snowboard for me. I'm 5'7 250lbs and wear a size 9 shoe. I want to purchase a Rossignol snowboard (i can get a discount) but I wanna know what model/size would be best.

I would get a board that is about 155 to 158. I suggest the Rossignol 157cm "One" (an all terrain board) if you have a discount.

For someone of your dimensions you are going to want a fairly rigid board and you want it wide. Length maybe a 165ish? Alot of places will try to size you up for a board by standing it on end and pickign a board length that comes somehwere between your chin and nose. That's an ok guidline but you seem to be fairly heavy for your height. (No offense intended. I am too.) So you want a board that will distribute your weight over a larger surface area. Good luck.

you DO NOT size your board according to height. any pro will tell you that. the smaller the board the more you will be able to manuver the bigger the board the more stable youll be.
i would stick with a 157-163.

go to the ski resort or ski shop and get fitted - they know what they're talking about.
