not sure of the first question, but when driving on the expressway speed limit is around 80 to 90 km and drivers will get caught by the speed camera if they exceed 10km more than the speed limit, cheers.

Never heard of any of my friends got caught before but heard from many mouths of the taxi drivers.

The normal speed limit in the day on the expressways will be from 80 - 90 km. However in the night, the legal maximum speed limit will adjust up to 100 km. So if you happen to speed beyond 100 - 120 km, you'll be expected to receive your summons in no time.

There are some speed cams in Spore. 1 is placed at AYE, near NUS. Another 1 is along PIE. Apart from that, I think still got a few and many are mobile speed cams, all placed by the TPs. They'll stand on top of the overhead bridges, having their cams placed on their tripods and shoot on the overspeeding vehicles. So beware and watch out the TP standing on the bridges.
