I have IBM thinkpad laptop and another Desktop. How to connect desktop to laptop and use laptop screen for desktop.

This can't be done unless you are willing to tear the laptop apart. Even then you will need to be very up on wiring, because getting it to work the way you want is going to be very challenging.
