Nope. Life is not possible on other planets of our solar system. They are either too near or too far away from the sun for any kind of life to exist. The main ingredients of life are nitrogen and oxygen in the atmosphere which is missing in all the planets, save Earth.

It makes sense that from the sheer size of the universe with the billions upon billion stars and galaxies, that there is life somewhere, at least the amount calculated by Drake's Equation. But since the SETI has been listening and observing, there has not been one radio wave or unnatural emmision of any sort coming from deep space. It took us less than 200 years to develop the technology to reach into space, so why haven't we heard or seen anything yet? It just doesn't make sense that we seem to be all alone.

I really have a problem with that question because I do believe in the Christian God, Jesus and Holy Ghost. But God gave me a logical mind and when you consider there are Billions of stars in our Galaxy and there is a billion, billion galaxies, well how could you not believe. This I hope is not taking away from my faith but yes I believe there is life on other planets, solar systems and galaxies. Although I do not believe in visiting aliens or intelligent life elsewhere.

From a logical point of view
If we look at the size of the Universe
And its million of planets...perhaps billion
There could be over 1000 planets with life on them.

But we will never be able to get in contact with them as it is impossible to cross those vast distances in our life time.

Even if we did find a way to get there...it would do us no good...because by the time we came back to earth...a couple of centuries would have pass and we don't know what we would come back to.

yep! 'coz the odds of just ONE planet having life AND having successfully developed intelligence are, well, just too odd!

maybe there's life on several other planets, but most might be only in microbial form. we still haven't fully checked out mars, venus, titan, europa and some other slightly-habitable solar-system bodies fully. Just the absence of a detailed study cannot disprove the theory of life on other planets.

I'd recommend you read Arthur C Clarke's 2010: Odyssey Two
I don't know where to get the hardcopy, but the ebook is probably available at many places, including peer-to-peer apps & esnips.

When I look up on a clear night and see the countless points of light and realize that beyond reach of our best telescopes there are zillions and quadrillions more of them...I conclude that the odds against Earth being the only habitable planet are staggering.
This says nothing about whether we will ever get a visit from one of them before - or after - Earth dies.

The earth has been bombarded for billions of years. To make the primordial soup as they call it and then to form DNA.We are of the stars,so why wouldn't other planets have the same thing happening to them too.

Yes! Since us humans are made out of stardust, we cant be the only planet this happened to! There HAS to be somewhere else... If there is, they are probably people just like us!

Absolutely. What gives us the haughtiness to think we are the only living beings in the universe? And it's a big universe. So yes, there's life out there. They probably don't come here much because we are so backward to them they wouldn't bother.

Definetely,

As grand as the universe is I think it is foolish to believe that we are the only one's in it. There are billions of stars in our galaxy, what is the chance that there is life on another planet? One in a million, where there you go!

Peace...
