I was just watching part of this movie, think on SciFi, Pitch Black. Well, I'm working nights this week and the place I work is a Psychiatric Hospital. Well stuff like Halloween 3 comes to mind. I was on the ward with staff and patients and watching part of the movie I decided that I should not be watching it because my office in in the main building and there IS NO one else in the building. Well my imagination run wild; I think I scare myself MORE than if there really was something to be afraid of.

When I was a kid I was afraid of the dark. We lived in a big old spooky house and I always dreaded getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.

literally the dark- when the lights are off, no im not afraid, i actually am comforted by a dark room when im sleeping

Yes and I'm not ashamed to admit it. I think for me it's more of the unknown aspect of the dark. Since you can't see anything you don't know what is there and that is what freaks me out.
