No, the way you suggest is fair, but there would be problems. Mostly the anger the rapist would feel at being so frustrated. I would hate to see him take his anger out on woman or anyone else.
It is truely deserved but much too cruel to inflict on society when the rapist is released.

Wellll, it would not do what you want it to do...it has been proven that rapists and molestors who volunteer for castration then use other objects to penetrate their victims...This is not a crime about sex; it is a crime about power and control...Even in volunteers that are castrated and given drugs to totally eliminate their sexual urges those that contiue to subjugate and molest do so by some sort of penetration...

Yup, why not. Only, I'd let them have a local - some anesthesia so they don't feel the physical pain, but are forced to watch it happen the entire time and really think about as opposed to be blacking out from shock and hysteria. This extends, especially, to child molesters, although I might add a bit more pain.

Removing the genitals is pointless as rape is not a sex crime, but a crime of control and violence. If a rapist did not have his own equipment to use, I am sure he would find a substitute. If one is convicted of rape, I suggest a good way to avoid a repeat offense is to remove him from the living. Rehabilitation of violent criminals is a farce.
