I love the lyrics to the Wind Beneath My Wings(Bette Midller) and My Heart Will Go On(Titanic love theme Celine Dion). Both songs were sung beautifully and with so much passion.

In My Life by the Beatles:

There are places I'll remember
All my life though some have changed
Some forever not for better
Some have gone and some remain
All these places have their moments
With lovers and friends I still can recall
Some are dead and some are living
In my life I've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you
And these memories lose their meaning
When I think of love as something new
Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more

Though I know I'll never lose affection
For people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
In my life I love you more
In my life I love you more

Alan Jackson ~~ Don't Ask Why

Ask me any kind of question, anything you
want to know.
Tell you all about my lovers, heartaches and laughter
from a long time ago.

Ask me if I'm finally happy,
I've never really been before.
Ever since you happened to me,
I've told all my secrets;
I don't have anymore

~Chorus~
Ask me now and I won't tell a lie.
Ask me how I've been feeling inside.
But when somebody loves you and you know that it's true;
Don't ask why.

Ask me if I really mean it
when I tell you I love you.
Ask me will I please repeat it.
I'll tell you forever if you want me to.

~Repeat Chorus~

Don't ask why...

goodness...that's a tough one. there are so many. i don't think there is just ONE song that can hold that title. " Wind Beneath My Wings" ..."HURT" ... "I Believe"...He Stopped Loving Her Today"..."Did You Ever Know You're My Hero"..."Feed Jake"...i could go on and on all night . as i said...it's just not possible to choose a single song as having the best lyrics.

I would have to say "Come What May" from Moulin Rouge.

It was the only original composition from the musical, and it was written to represent that, no matter what happens, Christian and Satine will always love each other and know that they will. I thought it was really beautiful. :-)
