...what would be your suggestion to help resolve the disputes? I think the first step would be to specifically define the borders of a new Palestinian State - difficult, yes, and I know that it could not include Jeruselum - but the only way to "begin" the process would be to have a clearly defined Palestinian State that governed itself, and with no interference from Israel! What do you think is the answer?

To Black Knuckles - I do not hate Jews, and I do not see how anyone with even half a brain could come to that conclusion! At this point I feel that both sides are to be blamed for the continued violence, and I also feel sorry for the majority of civilians in both countries because most of them want peace.

I think a two state sollution is part of the answer. Now we have some hopeful developments this last ten days.
I don't think you hate Jews, do you? What is it with the answer above us?

Check it out for yourself...How is it possible to have a state of Palestine when Israel has dotted the occupied territories of West Bank and Gaza with Jewish settlements, all illegally of course. Do you not think they have built well over a hundred settlements throughout the occupied territories because they want a final solution for Palestine as a nation? As you get to know the truth you'll see that it is Palestine that is disappearing and yet most Americans are conned to see Israelis as the victims. Just get a hold of the supposed territory that is to become the Palestinian state, a map that has Jewish settlements on it, and you'll this grand deception for yourself. Just look at the roads built connecting the Jewish settlements and how Palestinians have to go through Israeli military posts when going from one place to another, and then ask why you have not been informed about these facts by your mainstream media...

Well I mean, Israel is kind of in a pickle. Honestly, that's the worst place for them to be located...in the Arabian Peninsula. But, I would just put a no-mans land between Palestine and Israel. I doubt it would work, but who knows? I feel so bad for the innocent people on both sides being killed. They had some much potential infront of them, yet the uncontrollable happens.

I think an dI know and I think yuo aso know that making a palestine state will never solve the problem. The palestinians have already stated they will never accept Israel as a county no where on earth. So the only othe roption is to remove the palestines out of the area and divide them (the population) up among the MUslim countries.
Give every muslim country a few until they are completely removed form the area around Islreal. Let Israel have the entire area of Palestine and lebanon. Syria also if they object. or continue to support terrorist. Lebanon and palestine have had their change and it's time for peace.
It's just the matter of keeping the least of two evils and Israel is the least evil.

To end this conflict once and for all Israel will need to help the Palestinians by providing them with affordable health care, help Palestine to rebuild their economy, assist with education and job training. It's the only way. It's up to Israel to put aside the past and build a sustainable future with its neighbour. I would absolutely do anything including giving up everything I own if even one life could be saved.

I would define the border of Isreal, as being 25 miles south of brownville, texas. up to 5 miles south of Brownville. and from both point parallell north-west up toward El Paso, and west toward San Diego.
creating a 20 mile wide strip in the Southern border of the united state where it borders mexico, that will now be Isreal.
this way we don't have to worry about them being in the middle of the hot spot in the ME.
the pals can now have the that would be vacated by isreal, and many of our problems go away!
the jews would definitely make sure we didn't have an immigration problem, or drug smuggling problem across that border, no terrorists sneakign through!
the arabs would be happy, oil would come down in price, our economy would get better because of falling gas prices..heck all the arabs would probably give us oil for moving isreal over here!
win-win situation for everyone!

We need a time machine to go back to 1947 to undo the immoral partition of Palestine.

I do not expect the Palestinians to stop fighting. Partition has not worked in the past, because the Palestinians do not want Israel to exist--anywhere.
And partition which did not include Jerusalem, would never be something the Palestinians would agree to.
