Well, your iguanas aren't full grown yet. I'm guessing they are 2-3 years old based on the size you gave me. For a full grown iguana, you need something no smaller than 6'x6'x3'. But i would never go that small for one. I built one that was 8'x8'x4' and it is perfect. But you'll need something twice that size considering iguanas are territorial. You have to give them room to be apart from eachother and have their own space. I also recommend putting some type of shleving or branches up high in the cage. This allows them to look down over everything and will reduce the overall stress that they can get. Good luck.

The iguanas will eventually be around 6 feet long. You want to give them enough room so that they don't bang their tails on anything, so, maybe 8 or 10 feet round (or square, whatever) and 6 to 8 feet high?

Bigger is always better. Maybe you could iguana proof your entire yard. There is mesh you can buy at hardware stores for the "roof". Cover any escape holes with chicken wire, and you will have some very happy iguanas. Make sure there is shade for them to cool off if they want.

If it is just a cage to sun in for a few hours you can go quite a bit smaller. If they're going to be primarially living in it then it will depend on how well they get along (and remember you may have to cage them apart eventually) and of course their adult size of eventually 5-6'. Minimum I would do 10' wide by 6' tall by 5' wide. It is difficult to figure a cage size for two because there are of course more variables and different individuals will need more space when housed w/ a "friend". Minimum cage size for a single adult is 1.5 x length (long) by .75 x lenght (wide) x 6 ish ft tall (or on a tall shelf, etc. just to give some height so everyone isn't looking down on them).

i would think at least 16 ft long, 8 feet wide and 6 ft tall - your iguanas aren't through growing yet

If you are doing it outdoors I'd say the bigger the better. Absolute minimum for two to be comfortable would be maybe 8 ft. tall by 6 ft. by 4 ft?

why don't you just section off a part of your lanai and add a screen door and put a wading pool in for them. That is what we will do eventually. you will need to put some lamps in, since it will get cold in January and February.
