i own a repair shop,and the one part i don't recommend you buy used is a brake part,,unless its a rotor or a drum,the rest of it id buy new,,used parts aren't too safe to put on especially these days the stuff you buy probably is as bad as what you have on,already,but unless its an emergency,i don't recommend used parts at all,,good luck i hope this help,s.

There are some things you should never used that are used. Brake parts, for the most part, are some of them. Used brake parts have been stressed and can be weaker then you need. Some things, like brake drum bars, there are no problems with. Others, like springs, should always be replaced with new ones. Rotors and drums can be used if they are up to specs. You will have to have them turned first, though.
