The three classic signs of diabetes are excessive thirst, excessive urination and excessive hunger.
Other signs and symptoms of high blood sugar include blurred vision, fatigue, pins and needles, numbness and skin infections.
If you have a first degree relative with diabetes then you are more likely to get it. You can reduce your risk of getting diabetes by making sure that you have a diet with a low glycaemic index- this means that foods produce a slow increase in glucose so that you do not get big spikes like you do when you eat straight sugar. Your body finds it harder to regulate your blood sugar level when you get huge influxes of glucose all at the same time.
Maintaining your body weight is important. If you are overweight then your body also finds it harder to regulate blood glucose levels this gradually leads to an insensitivity to glucose and to diabetes.
Exercise is the next thing that is important. It helps your body to stay healthy and maintain a good body weight leading to a reduced risk of developing diabetes.
Other things that can increase your risk of developing diabetes are smoking, males are more likely to get diabetes then women are, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and high levels of blood triglycerides.
I don't know what country you are from but I am sending you an Australian site that has a lot of information and can be very useful no matter where you are from.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Excessive thirst is a very common symptom.
Have your grandparents test your blood with there test strips.
This is how my sister found out her 5 year old daughter had diabetes. She has our dad (who's diabetic) test her blood and it was off the chart. We rushed her to the ER and she was diagnosed and stayed in the hospital for 4 days.

1. No, it is hereditary; you are at hazard in case your direct mum and dad or grandparents have it. 2. Not that i know of. Three. It depends upon the type. There are numerous one of a kind varieties of diabetes; I think you are thinking of sort one (insulin) diabetes. With sort one, which onsets quite often in adolescense, most have got to take an insulin shot day-to-day. Nonetheless, form two (by and large brought on through obesity, which is able to onset at any age) is totally different, and isn't to do with insulin at all.

I have heard of a whole family that all ended up getting diabetes but only one member... the one who owns a fitness center, always exercised, ate right, and led an active healthy life style.... I've heard you can prevent it by watching your whole life style habits closely... my grandpa had it... overweight people are more likely to get it.... people who drink a lot of pop, eat a lot of salty, sugary, and fatty foods are also more likely... oh do use one of your grandparents' test strips... they'll be able to tell you what your blood sugar level should be.

One tell, tell sign is extreme dry mouth. What they call cotton mouth. Some people if the diabetes is really uncontrolled they experience dizziness, blurred vision, numbness in fingers or toes.
The best way to find out is have a blood test. You are at higher risk if it runs in the family.
If you are overweight this can also put you at higher risk.

You really need to have proper tests done from your doctor, as it can be hard to detect and many people don't experience symptoms .
