My domestic water heater is in the garage. One 3/4 inch water line exits the water heater and almost immediately a 3/4 inch tee diverts water to the clothes washer 20 feet away. The main line continues straight ahead 25 feet and again tee's with one 3/4 line going left to serve the kitchen area 20 feet away and the other 3/4 inch line turning right and serving the bathrooms which are now 50 feet away. The problem is whenever anyone is in the shower and a faucet is opened upstream the person in the shower is robbed of hot water. Any suggestions for a remedy would be greatly appreciated.

I fixed this problem in another house by installing a hot shot tankless water heater. Here is a link to a similar model that I installed. http://www.kthsales.com/website/vendors/Protec/hot-shot-heater.htm Not only did it fix the problem but it became more energy efficient because the water ran less since the hot water was right near the appliance.
