while I eat my McDonalds breakfast and
chat on my cell phone on the way to work through rush hour traffic.

I hope you mean a 'flat panel' because a regular flat screen is just that... a flat screen (it still has the 'big backside'). A flat PANEL tv however, is about only 2 inches thick and is either LCD or Plasma. Just get a portable dvd player for around 80 bucks and call it a day! If you hook up a television/monitor you'll still need an antenna for tv reception.
