Why? Because people make teams more than they really are. Talk gets to these teams heads then they get upset. I wouldn't be surprised if Michigan is upset by USC. Will they still be the second best in the nation then?

Man, the haters are out in droves tonight. I'm a HUGE Trojan fan and I've followed and rooted for them for decades. I love them but the truth is that they lost for one reason and one reason alone yesterday....ARROGANCE. Shame on them. They didn't even really show up. I hope the Trojans learned a valuable lesson in that painful loss. You can never, never, never get lazy and over confident when it comes to playing the Bruins. No matter what kind of year the Bruins are having, they always seem to find fresh energy and fire when it comes to playing the Trojans. Let your guard down just a little and you end up with a rose bowl win instead of a ANOTHER National Championship title. ;)

Well i thought USC would not lose because they have won something like the last 50 of their previous games. UCLA is not even ranked in the BCS top 25. It was a major upset. Pete Carroll lost to the cross town rivals for the first time in his career as head coach for the Trojans. I think the current projections put Florida ahead of Michigan for the number two spot now that USC has fallen to sixth.

I definitely expected my Buckeyes to be lining up against USC for the championship. But oh well, I still think the BCS got it right putting the teams even, and I think the coaches poll got it right as well since Florida won the SEC and Michigan lost the Big Ten. Tough luck for the Trojans.

I did, because on any given day a team can have a bad game, Look at my favorite team, Texas Longhorns. They started out awesome and then fell from grace to 18 or 19th...... So anybody can have a off game. It is what they do with that in the Next game fall again or play harder to win again..

I was hoping they would. I'm tired of all the USC hype. I'm glad to see Ohio and Florida in the title game. If Michigan got in I wasn't even going to bother watching. Who really wants to see a Ohio/Michigan match-up again? Not me. Michigan had their chance to beat Ohio and they didn't. Its nice to see somebody different in the title game...Go Gators!

Michigan got hosed and I'm sure that OSU fans are breathing easier that they don't have to play Michigan again. Now they play Florida and the only way this game will be close is if OSU leaves their starters at home.

I didn't expect USC to lose, but Michigan got screwed either way.

I was crossing my fingers for them to lose. It's about time there was a USC-less championship game.
